独特の質感と風合いで動物を描く画家であり、芸術家集団C-DEPOTの代表を務める金丸悠児さん。こちらは「コラージュ・シリーズ」の作品で“記憶の断片”を表現しています。こちらは家とそこへと続く道を描いた作品。“何も考えずに家を描くとこうなります”と言う金丸さん。まるで絵本に出てくるようなこの家は、作者の幼少期の記憶とも繋がっています。

Yuji Kanamaru presents another work
from his Collage Series.

This work represents “fragments of memory.”

It depicts a solitary house
and the path leading toward it.
“When I draw a house without thinking,
this is what appears,”
says Kanamaru.
Reminiscent of a scene from a picture book,
the house is also connected to
the artist’s childhood memories.
The work gently invites viewers
to reconnect with memories of their own.
